Job Description

    

1. Participates in and contributes to the development and generation of product requirements specifications based on Voice of Customer (VOC) inputs
2. Following the product spec, design and develop new and innovative products
3. Employs appropriate DFSS tools during product development
4. Create the appropriate technical documentation: Schematics, BOMs, DFMEA, Theory of Ops, etc.
5. Develop and launch new products following the stage-gate process (i.e., PROLaunch)
6. Work with internal and external design resources when appropriate (e.g. PCB layout, other engineers, software development, test laboratories)
7. Develop test plans for design validation in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements
8. Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with key customers and vendors
9. Participate as the lead engineer for electronics in core product development team
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

    

1. 10 or more years’ experience in new product development in electronic and electromechanical systems.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field required
3. Electronic hardware design—power electronics, switch-mode power supplies, electrical transient protection schemes, design for EMC, etc.
4. Electronic design tools: schematic capture, circuit and behavioral simulation (SPICE, Simplis, Ansys) PCB layout and design
5. Preferred：Experience with C, C++, C# programming and embedded programming
6. Preferred：Experience with various software tools (C compilers, programming environments, programming stations, serial data networks).
7. Understanding of( required for senior 1, preferred for another 2 ), OEM/TIER1automotive or commercial vehicle markets and the environmental requirements and related qualification testing required
8. Working knowledge of automotive serial data protocols (CAN J1939, J1587, J1708, LIN).
9. Creating and maintaining electronic documentation for manufacturing.
10. Supporting manufacturing with part substitutions and other manufacturing concerns.
11. Designing test and programming fixtures.
12. Experience in designing to cost targets
13. Required: fluent oral English communication skills
14. Soft skills: mentor junior memebers, make design decision, be able to hanlding customers during projects
15. 40-50 ppl in the future, next 1-2 years to lead a team
