The company
A World Leading Company in the big market share in specific section of new energy, offering various products with owned patented technologies.

The Role
You should be responsible for excellent cooperation with your team member to source qualified vendors under cost budget on balance between efficiency versus pricing and collect market information for your working scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops long and short-term strategies for sourcing activities regarding Medium Voltage and relevant components
• Monitors and investigates Asia and world markets, and leads key negotiations with qualified suppliers
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities from both commercial and technical view, and evaluates cost reduction potential
• Guides and produces favorable contract terms and best-in-class pricing, which result in bottom-line financial savings and mitigation of risks
• Act as the first level technical expert in terms of communication and clarification on technical related topics between the company and the suppliers
• Be responsible for establishing effective quality control measures by working in close collaboration with suppliers in APAC region and worldwide
• Monitors and improves upon the added value received through qualified suppliers
• Works in close collaboration with the Purchasing, Quality Management and Production departments of the Headquarters and other subsidiaries worldwide

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Business Administration , with sound understanding of Medium Voltage and its relevant components
• Has at least 5 years of proven professional experience in sourcing or electronic engineering, preferably within Medium Voltage related industry
• Has a sound understanding of sourcing strategies and cost structures, as well as knowledge of Medium Voltage from technical and quality point of view
• Candidates with vocational training in electronics require long-term experience in purchasing or another related area
• Possesses a confident manner and is skilled in negotiating contracts/agreements and influencing business decisions
• SAP knowledge is strongly desired
• Work experience in an international company would be a plus
• Must be willing to travel in China and internationally (on a regular basis)
