职位描述
工作职责:
?Responsible for managing and developing the manufacturing engineering organization and the manufacturing engineers.
?LEAN manufacturing; define and establish manufacturing methods, processes, and tools for new and existing products. Process Poka Yoke (mistake proofing of products and mistake proof processes).
?Develop and establish the manufacturing system and processes and most efficient and effective production.
?Partner with design engineering and facilitate supplier inputs/requirements in product development with strong influence in DFX (design for Mfg, Ass'y, Test, Rel, ..), Configure to Order and Modular designs, and product Poka Yoke (mistake proofing of products). Products to include System and Module level assemblies.
?Transition products from design into manufacturing.
?S/W tools (MS Office and CAD tool. Solid Works, Notes, and SAP are a plus). Create, update and maintain project plans, Electronic manufacturing Work Instructions and procedures to name a few.
?Define and Implement manufacturing methods and processes for new and existing product(s).
?Structure new product BOMs and restructure old product BOMs for Manufacturability
?Create, update and maintain manufacturing Work Instructions
?Create, update and maintain manufacturing Routings and Labor Standards
?Establish process Controls and Mistake Proof processes
?Knowledge of SPC and FMEA and effective implementation
?Procure and implement Assembly Tools and Fixtures
?Train and certify assembly operators on Manufacturing Processes
?Key individual responsible for training department and factory floor personnel. Provide input to plan, schedule, and manage the resources and technology within the department. Determine long term requirements for staff, equipment and facilities.
?Ability to manage a diverse supply chain engaged in the manufacture of mechanical and electrical components. Suppliers should be using the same tools and metrics that BTU uses, including Pro-E and quality processes.
?Demonstrated track record using computer technology to automate the support of manufacturing processes. Familiar computer software tools that support manufacturing process generation (graphically based systems).
?Generate and maintain ISO 9000 folders as required.
?Broad understanding of product design and manufacturing processes to support the manufacture of BTU’s line of furnaces.
?Schedule the department workload for the responsible segment of the organization In accordance with the needs of the production schedule.
?Key member of the International Technical support team.
?Responsible for preparing, monitoring and controlling budgets, and managing for effective expense control.
?Exercises personnel responsibilities such as hires, job assignments, termination recommendations, transfers, promotions, salary actions, and performance reviews.
?Insure company success through shared vision with motivated employees.
任职资格:
?Experience in statistical process control.
?Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
?Knowledge of root cause analysis and FEMA methodology.
?Experience managing conflicting priorities.
?Computer literacy with Windows/NT and Microsoft Office; Knowledgeable in the use of Pro Engineer, specifically Pro/Process.
?Experience with product configuration management.
?Team leader/ team player.
?Encourages/ rewards.
