We are looking forward to SAP Data Migration Technical Analyst in Eaton’s Corporate, based in Shanghai, China.

Your essential responsibilities:

 

• Develops and delivers quality code per prescribed specifications independently

• Provides input into design activities

• Administers/manages technical systems per prescribed procedures under some guidance

• Technology specific development & testing using SDLC

• Executes ITSM processes (Change, Request, Incident, Problem management) on technical IT systems at the task level

• Work in partnership with business users, ERP Lead Analysts on ERP data needs and the necessary data mapping requirements.

• Work closely with Project Manager to align data migration timelines against project timelines

• Execute the data migration strategy – understanding the source data – the mapping rules – and the upload routines.

• Understand all the data dependencies across the Master Data elements and Transactional Data elements.

• Understand how data relates to business requirements and processes – in line with Strategic ERP solutions and Eaton standards

• Demonstrate good communication skills, to keep an open and clear communication to all parties involved in data migration activities

• Learn new modules, database schemas and programming techniques to provide value to our business by enhancing self-knowledge and capability.

• Will assist in project implementations around the globe by performing simple ABAP development.

If you are:

• 3 years IT experience

• A four year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Must be legally able to work in the hiring country without company sponsorship.

• Must have technical knowledge of SAP ECC 6 or higher with a minimum of 2 yrs experience across multiple SAP ECC ERP modules using ABAP, LSMW etc

• Must be versed with Data load technologies and strategy

• Should have extensive knowledge of trouble shooting Production scenarios using ABAP technologies

• Should be familiar with MS Excel

• Should be fluent in English

• SAP certification in either MM, SD or ABAP and an appropriate degree would be a plus.
