职位描述
Develop and implement quality plan, budget, policies and systems; and supervise quality engineering and control activities with the objective of ensuring TE suzhou's product quality meet customers and external agencies' standards within corporate quality systems, policies and procedures; and relevant local regulations.
Planning and Budgeting
Propose and recommend quality department strategy; Develop and implement department budget and plan, allocate
department budget to subfunctions and monitor the achievement of the budget.
Policies and Procedures
Approve new/updated quality department policies and procedures, in order to provide working guidelines and
directions for department employees and ensure department employees fully compliance with corporate policies.
People Management & Development
Allocate and balance work across direct reports; Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; Mentor,
develop and motivate subordinates; Resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve
targeted department performance; Propose annual salary review results for General Manager's further approval
based upon company compensation policies.
Quality Systems
Prepare for yearly TS16949 external audit; Review and approve overall quality manual and procedures; Develop and organize
quality awareness training plan to ensure all employees compliance.
Develop and facilitate internal quality audit plan; Review and summarize internal audit results to management
team with the recovery plan.
Develop and facilitate document control plan in order to make sure all document and records are properly
documented.
Quality Engineering
Develop quality systems and processes into new products; Review and approve PPAP(production parts approval process) in order to get ready for mass production.
Develop process audit plan to provide suggestion for overall quality improvement; Monitor the completion of
action plans.
Review external DPPM(defect parts per million) and develop improvement plan; Review 8D closure and response time to make sure all the quality gap be closed
Quality Control
Review internal PPM(parts per million) and occurrences; review internal 8D response time and closure.
Review supplier PPM(parts per million) and occurrences; review 8D quality and response time to improve supplier quality; review
supplier quality audits and submitted PPAPs(production parts approval process); develop action plans to improve in-process quality.
Review the plan for measurement calibration completion; provide measurement services to production to ensure
parts are dimensionally corrected.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in engineering or relevant major
More than 10 years experience in quality area including 6years managerial experience in Auto industry
Technical skills, problem-solving, total working system, drive for results, customer focused
