SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:
· Implement QR6s-based Quality Management System across all China business processes and maintain its effectiveness and suitability
· Drives manufacturing operations and production excellence through improving their quality control systems with emphasis on customer satisfaction
· Manages internal and external quality benchmarking programs
· Conveys the actual quality status to all departments/people concerned to drive the factory operations to improve continuously.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The position provides leadership, direction and management of quality systems including incoming quality control, manufacturing process quality systems, outgoing products/parts quality assurance, and the company quality management system to assure the country business is capable of building and delivering products/parts/services to meet business requirements cost effectively and assures the quality of the products/Services delivered to customers.
· Ensure deep implementation of Quick Response Six Sigma (QR6σ) in China
· Provide/organize the necessary training of QR6σ to each function in China
· Lead/facilitate resolution of customer claims with QR6σ-PRP process
· Develops and supports effective teams and environments
Metrics:
· Zero KM PPM/Incident
· FPY/RTY
· Supplier PPM/Incident (esp. linked with customer incident)
· # of Red Projects
· Field Claim NFF%
· Warranty % of sales
· Fill rate (shared responsibility with Site Leaders)
· QR6s WB/YB trained
· Quantity of QR6s Line & PRP (for customer claims) with Lessons Learned Cards (LLC)
EXPERIENCE:
PROFILE:
· Demonstrated knowledge of factory operations quality management including supplier quality survey/qualification/monitoring, incoming quality control, manufacturing processes quality management, outgoing quality assurance, products/parts reliability and quality management system
· Effective communication skills and executive presence with team management
· English communication skill is must
· Understanding modern manufacturing technology and process planning.
· Self-motivate & Learning skills
· Engineering degree with bachelor qualification
· TS 16949 experience is a plus is preferable.
· Lean enterprise skills is preferable
· Six Sigma Black Belt preferable
