Senior Support Engineer (资深技术支持工程师)
General summary of Duties/Responsibilities:
You will be joining a global team, working closely with colleagues who are based in the UK & US & HK & India; you will need to communicate in English both by telephone and email. Our client is a major international investment bank; we develop, maintain and support their global 24 hour production system environment.

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the Trading systems.
- Respond to service requests.
- Investigation, reporting and correction to issues.
- Liaising with other teams to ensure stability fixes are implemented.
- Monitoring, measuring and reporting upon improvements.
- Pro-active instability investigation and actions upon findings.
- Re-active investigations upon incidents for root cause and actions upon findings.
- Responsible for ensuring ongoing stability increases.

Requirements:
- At least 4 years experience in Unix working environment.
- Be familiar with Unix skills.
- Basic Oracle/SQL knowledge are preferred.
- Understand basic database principles, capable of forming basic database queries.
- Very good spoken and written English.
- Good communication and client service skills.
- Excellent pro-active and confident personality with ability to work without supervision.
- Commitment to self-improvement and service-improvement.
