SIT-System Intergration Test
SUMMARY
Self-starter who likes to take responsibility with limited supervision. Likes to perform a variety of tasks and have the ability to handle multiple priorities and has previously performed in a similar position. “Hands-on” role requiring a strong technical background and product development experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
？ Write test specifications & test-plans, procedures & co-ordinate with validation group in China and USA
？ Strong customer presentation skills.
？ Software and hardware validation of multi-media, networks, operating systems and I/O devices against the project schedule.
？ System validation including EVT (Engineering Validation Trial), DVT (Design Validation Trial), SIT (System Integration Test), environmental & regulatory approval.
？ Ability to self install various Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, OS2, DOS, Windows (ALL).And doing the WHQL & Linux certification test.
？ Sourcing of alternative functional blocks for compatibility and cost effectiveness and benchmarking of these functional blocks.
？ Develop Functional test solution for design.
？ Central liaison & support for OEM/ODM Customers, System Builders & Manufacturing if need.
？ Engineering on Engineering issues for System level debug and root cause analysis.
？ Responsible for OS, firmware & driver patches & fixes.
？ End of life re-design, New vendor qualification, and Design related issues found in Manufacturing or Field
？ Analysis of Speed bump increases to Memory, CPU and other critical system components, analyze risk vs. return for an appropriate validation schedule and cut-in date.
？ Work with software & BIOS team to identify root cause of system failure.

REQUIRMENTS
？ Have professional knowledge in Server & Storage, Networking or Telecommunication products. Understand Ethernet, Fiber Channel, SAS/SATA, SBB specification.
？ Working knowledge in setup test environment based on Windows, Linux, Unix platform. Be familiar with the OS certification and debugging.
？ Hands-on Validation – designing, building and executing test plans & scenarios.
？ Familiar with chipset from Broadcom, Nvidia, Intel, Vitesse, PMC Sierra, LSI, Q-Logic, etc.Technologies inc. SAS, SATA, PCI-e, Ethernet (100M / 1G / 2.5G / 5G / 10G / 40G / 100G), iSCSI, RAID 0,1,5,610, Fibre Channel, Battery Backup cache, SNAP, Virtual Tape.
？ Tests: Macro scripts, Pearl, IOMeter, Netbench, WHQL HCT, Sandra, Drive pull tests, Failover, Network boot, PXE, CIFS, NFS, LUN Masking / mapping, Security (CHAP, iSNS, ACL), Disk Sparing, Zoning, User I/F (CLI, WEB, telnet), SNMP traps, IPSEC, MS ISCSI Initiator.
？ Bachelor’s in Electronics, Computer, Software Engineering or similar.
？ 5 or more years experience working for a storage product company.
？ Microsoft MCSE, Cisco & Novell certified engineer
？ Working knowledge of windows & Linux configuration, installation procedure, network configuration, driver configuration, etc.
？ Working knowledge of IPMI protocol.
？ Networking, Ethernet, Hubs & Switches, LAN config, Server admin
？ Working knowledge of AMI, Insyde Phoenix or Award BIOS structure.
？ Strong team work membership. Open minded and outgoing personality for collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
