Purpose of the Job

? Responsible for project sourcing performance for his product line (projects)
? Scope of project sourcing: IWC& Tubular product line
Position in the Organisation
Organisation Structure and reporting
? Reports hierarchically Project Sourcing leader(Henry Zhang)
Network & Links

? Sourcing Network: Lianda Commodity Sourcing – Oversea Sourcing (e.g SOMFY group)
? Project manager/Technical engineer
? Lianda SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) network
? Lianda Purchasing network
Mission, roles and responsibilities
Manage following activities:
? Manage to get project QCLT input at defined project phase, in order to have clear input for sourcing activities
? Manage to provide sourcing input (supplier list, QCLT quotation commitments, supplier selection, sample delivery, ramp up preparation) to PM based on different project phase and meet project QCD target
? Make sure the project sourcing process is followed (checklist and milestones are managed and respected)
? Manage RFQs with suppliers, in coordination with Commodity sourcing to following the defined commodity strategy; involve commodity sourcing team when meet issues with suppliers (abnormal prices, offer out of budget, etc)
? Manage project sourcing contract negotiation &signature with suppliers
? Manage the mould development &initial samples delivery schedules with suppliers to make sure on-time delivery
? Take lead on supplier project management, coordinate with supplier& other teams (R&D, SQE) to make sure the project schedule are met
? Escalate blocking issues to PM &Project sourcing leader with contingency action plans
Measurement
Success in the job will be measured through the following criteria:
? Nr.of presence of supplier initial sample
? Supplier selection on time rate (%)
? Initial sample on time delivery rate (%)
Required qualification/Experiences
Required qualification
? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical
? Project sourcing experience is a must (at least 2 years)
? 2-3 years of related sourcing experience in manufacture industry (International company), be familiar with Sourcing practice &process
? Result-oriented, strong leadership to push thing forward
? Negotiation skills, communication skills
? Be familiar with Sourcing practice &process
? Fluently in English (Listen, speak, reading, written)
