Guangzhou, China is a new branch office of the world's leading consulting and engineering company solely committed to the pharma and biotech industry. We design, procure, construct, commission and validate manufacturing facilities, according to GMP, international and Chinese FDA regulations. We work in project teams. The team typically begins a project in the Guangzhou office and ends on site during the construction and validation phases. You will be assigned to a project team as Project Manager.

Main responsibilities are:

1. Define the framework for the project:

Define, in cooperation with the management representative, a framework that can be used in the daily project operation.
The framework includes budgets, schedules, quality goals as well as project procedures.
Ensure that the M+W quality system, standards and methods, including Our Model, are the basis for execution to the extent possible.

2. Project Kick-off

In cooperation with the management representative, establish a project team capable of solving the specific project tasks in an efficient way and at the lowest possible cost. Kick off the project by securing that project participants both from M+W and the customer get an introduction to the project objective.
Ensure that all project participants understand their specific tasks, role, responsibilities and interfaces.

3.Stakeholder Management

Ensure that stakeholders, especially customer project management and management representative, are kept informed about project status, challenges and risks as well as mitigating actions and, if relevant, needed support.
Work closely with the customer to ensure smooth and efficient cooperation with the customer's project team to optimise the efficiency and satisfaction of the joint project team. Avoid escalating disputes that cannot easily be resolved as such conflicts can turn out harmful to the on-going cooperation.

4. Project Operation

Plan, execute and control project.
Execute the project within the framework agreed with the management representative.
Be result-oriented. Monitor and optimise parameters impacting NP's profit contribution throughout the project lifecycle.
Detect and correct improper and inefficient cooperation and procedures in cooperation with the management representative.
Ensure that proper project control is established and in operation.
Act to any potential threat. Seek help as required.
Ensure that all work and meetings are properly planned, executed and documented.
Ensure that agreed reporting is delivered timely and provides a true picture of the project status.

5. Development

Member of relevant Communities of Interest (COI) to stay updated on M+W 's project execution tools and methods.

Qualifications:

Master or bachelor degree in engineering background.
Minimum 8-10 years' working experience in project management.
Fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese.
Be familiar with project management disciplines.
People with experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech-related industry or design institutes, will be preferred.
Project Management Certification and GMP experience is not a must but preferable.
Situated in Guangdong province is preferable
