Accounting Manager - AR & Revenue Support
Synopsis
Lead EF's Accounting team providing professional shared accounting and reporting services to EF products in China to support the rapid business development at EF China! Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a diverse and international workforce.
The Role
The main responsibilities for this role are to manage a team of accountant to implement standard accounting procedures in AR Function, Improve income reconciliation for EF Product, Implement necessary credit control process over B2B business. Perform monthly calculation of deferred revenue in line with company and statutory rules and policies, support monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and prepare report and financial analysis for both internal and external use,
Responsibilities:
1. Review invoice and business tax calculation to support month-end closing
2. Standardization of revenue recognition, invoicing, AR accounting process for EF China
3. Support and Review Income reconciliation for various product such as Language
4. Reconcile AR coda bookings against Sales System (including Sales force /ODIN /Poseidon)
5. Ensure that all closing deadline of AR functions are met
6. Review and identify AR booking errors during month-end closing and follow up the actions item to be closed in a timely manner
7. Proactively communicates with various departments, provide strong business support to working partners from all EF product
8. AR Team management and development
9. Support finance director for various accounting related ad hoc work as assigned
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree and majored in Accounting or Economics
2. Well organized, Mature, diligent and highly responsible
3. Above 8 years plus related working experience in AR, sales accounting support, including at least 3 years in staff management (G/L, AR, AP, Cash management, etc.)
4. Good knowledge of AR, Invoicing, credit control and revenue recognition for both Chinese statutory accounting regulation and tax requirement
5. A good team player who can work under pressure and varied demands with a positive attitude
6. Fluent in written and spoken English
7. Excellent spreadsheet skill and solid system knowledge, Finance shared service experience desired
8. Familiar with MS Office, outlook or other integrated business systems
9. Must be willing to be actively engaged at all levels of the function with a "hands on"approach
The ideal candidate should have relevant accounting experience in MNCs shared service center or retail/chain industry. Candidate shall be hands-on and willing to devote to the job. Qualified candidates should be sharpen, smart and have strong sense of responsibility
