The assistant will be in charge of ensuring EEM data accuracy and validity. The assistant will also support BUT SOURCING shipping team in its daily shipping routine operations and relationship with booking agents, suppliers and customers.
The main tasks for the trainee will be the following :
1. Secure data reliability and validity on BUT TMS systems
2. Create shipment and assign order to shipment in BUT TMS system for all BUT International orders.
3. Assist BUT SOURCING shipping team in its tasks upon request.
4. Coordinate daily operations with booking agents and suppliers.
5. Inform supplier of operational processes with effective communication.
6. Push suppliers to issue telex release & other documents before ETA to avoid any container storage penalty at destination port.
7. Collect documents for special shipments if necessary.
Requirements:
- College degree or above majoring in logistics related fields;
- 1 years experience in shipping coordination & management of shipping documents;
- Open-minded, be able to integrate himself/herself easily in a team and work with others in an international environment;
- Willing to learn
- PC and Microsoft Office skills (Excel)
- Good written and verbal skills in English
