Job Summary and Scope: (Write a short paragraph on the scope and purpose of job.)

Material and Commodity Specialist level I should have more than 1 years packaging related working experience with enough knowledge of ESD material, bag and other accessory packing materials. This role will need to have good communication skills and the the capability of supporting the new supply base exploration, supply base selection and qualification, and technical problem solving. This role will also be responsible for material engineering support and commodity management for new product introduction and mass production.

Skills / Experience / Education Requirements:

? Engineering degree, Bachelors or 3+ years relevant work experience
? Very familiar with below packing materials: ESD packing, all kinds of bags, cross-link EPE, woven/Non-woven material,TFT, cloth,PLA, envelop, plastic handle/bottle. Be familiar with raw material process, available supply base.

? Good time management skills with ability to multi-task
? Good oral English is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

？ Supplier Development and Sourcing
? Manage the current supply base and maintain working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain adequate and continuous sources of supply.
? Support the Request for Quotation and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the most effective cost according to the should cost model if available.
? Provide total cost analysis including the ex-factory cost, logistic and business model impact caused by different supply base and working model choices.
? Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements.
？ Engineering and Manufacturing
? Cooridinate and lead the design for manufacturing reviews with the supply base and ensure all the customer requirements are fully understood
? Support the commodity library management with providing material specification, samples, application, limitation, and capacity, and lead the communication and information sharing to cross functional team
? Manage the supply base tooling, sampling and mass production schedule and execution to ensure on time delivery
? Manage internal/external project ECO change with the supply base
? Manage 2nd source qualification
？ Quality and Technical Problem Solving
? Support the technical problem solving of procurement quality initiatives.
? Support supply base corrective action plan and implementation
？ Team Work

? Manage stakeholders expectations and lead team to ensure on time delivery
? Actively participate in cross functional meetings
? Support operations team for urgent/unexpectated delivery request
