Responsibilities:

Design Phase:
?Arrange site visit for Hotel Operator
?Formulate Project Brief with Hotel & Spa Operator
?Coordinate with Designer on Hotel Requirement, leading to formulate area summary/program
?Provide recommendations regarding consultants (PM/LDI/GREEN/Landscape/lighting/Kitchen/Laundry/AV/Signage/Artworks)
?Distribute and Brief Design Standards.
?Organize project mobilization meeting and seek sign off on Design stage schedule
?Assist design team with concept, schematic design development through regular attendance at meetings, drawing review and weekly conference calls.
?Engage internal department heads resulting in clear direction to owner design team. ?Update work progress & payment schedule
?Prepare Status Reports through all phases.

Construction Phase:
?Review contract documents to ensure compliance with Banyan Tree Design Standards.
?Participate in value engineering, if any.
?Schedule Mockup Inspection
?Prepare & coordinate on Mockup unit BOL
?Submit Mockup BOL to Owner for purchase
?Arrange & coordinate with Senior Management & Owner for Mockup inspection
?Attend & Prepare Mockup comments & defects report.
?Review shop drawings and material samples.
?Attend periodic construction meetings as necessary.

Commissioning Phase:
?Inspect construction progress for quality and compliance to the Standards.
?Develop inspection, deficiency and remedial strategy with construction team.
?Identify spare parts requirement, warranties, service contracts and as-built documents and track receipt of same
?Establish construction completion, FF&E installation, training and handover schedule.

Pre-Opening Phase
?Assist in securing pre-opening offices.
?Formulate schedule from Excom onboard to 1st Paying Guest
?Interface with pre-opening team to ensure an orderly transition into the hotel.
?Address pre-opening team concerns regarding operational aspects.
?Ensure deficiency remedial work is complete and hotel is ready for Xperimental Guest Program.

Requirements:
?Degree in Architectural, Interior Design or Mechanical Engineering
?Minimum 5 - 10 yrs of experience for International Hotel Technical Services experience
?Very meticulous, precise and detail oriented
?Proficient in both spoken/written Mandarin and English
