Responsibilities
The role of Senior Product Manager is to be responsible for drafting marketing plan, formulating brand related tactics and actions, activities implementation & evaluation, communication plan follow up, brand performance tracking and budget control. He/she is also responsible for assisting Senior Marketing Manager to formulate brand strategies and annual marketing plan to meet brand health and product P&L target.
Annual Marketing Plan(Consumer & Retail):
Prepare annual marketing plan and communication strategy, including above-the-line & below-the-line activities as well as investment plan to achieve top-line and bottom-line target based on brand long term development strategy.
Formulate Brand Operation Plan
Formulate brand operational plan: including tactics and action plan based on agreed brand objectives, strategies and budget.
Implement and Evaluate Marketing Programs
Propose action plans and implement agreed plans. Closely follow up the program result, sales feedback and make necessary amendment if required. Evaluate the programs after completion and provide learning for next action.
Brand Performance Tracking
Fully leverage available resources, constantly monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, brand performance and Brand Health analysis to help Marketing Manager to formulate brand strategies.
Follow up Communication Plan
Follow up communication plan based on agreed communication strategy and annual master plan, including: advertising campaign and other communication material development, cooperate with media team to follow up communication plan.
Implement Innovation Projects
Assist Marketing Manager to deliver the new product pipeline as well as new product launch plan, including product concept, formulation, packaging, pricing, communication plan and launch support plan.
Initial Sales Forecast
Coordinating with sales team to prepare monthly rolling sales forecast based on brand operational plan and sales analysis
Budget Preparation and Control
Initiate brand budget (Consumer & Retail channel), monitor and analyze brand budget to ensure cost effective & efficiency and make sure within agreed budget.
Special Project Management
Independently lead the project team to manage the assigned special project and provide evaluation report afterwards.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor or above, 5 years of relevant experience in high-end skincare / cosmetic companies
Special Knowledge
Frequent in oral and written English, brand management knowledge, media communication and consumer research knowledge
Skills
Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as project management and presentation skills. Strategic thinking, good market acumen and ability in analysis and judgment
