职位描述
Mission :
The Service Director, member of the management committee, responsible for the general service development of company and its P/L.
Main tasks :
- Define and manage the overall service strategy planning in line with Group’s strategy and company Business Strategy planning.
- Assess the install base and service potentials, priorities short term service activities and long term goals.
- Leverage from own and competitor’s install base market to service business.
- Develop service offering, commercialize the service activities into service product.
- Initiative, plan, monitor and develop service team and organization, and technical competency.
- Promote and sell solutions to customer, i.e. value solution, performance solution, and energy solution.
- Customer relationship management, knowing customer organization, tendering & purchase process, MRO budget, shut-downs, customer intention for new grade ( or better quality), spare parts stock level.
- Reference management, by understanding the process various, customer “pain” of the process, possible revamping for better quality & productivity. Yearly target of customer. Ensure customer satisfaction of our install base. Follow-up rebuild or revamping project. Able to collect process and quality data upon request
- New Opportunities and sales promotion, by promoting spare parts sales, training, process audit, annual agreement, consultant service, new concept of machine modification, introduce successful story.
- Contribute to service innovation to enlarge service market.
- Establishment and maintenance of service database.
- Execution of service project, in charge of contract risk controlling according to company’s directives, Participates in the management of litigations related project.
- Service team organization and management, lead service team to achieve service KPI of budget.
- In the regular company’s operation, cooperate with related internal departments and other functions in the group.
- Carry out other job assigned by top management.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED
Must:
- Has extensive service business knowledge, dynamic and ambitious.
- Entrepreneurship and strong business skills to work with local management.
- Strong cross function management capabilities.
- Senior sales and business development experience.
- Working in steel industry for many years. Good knowledge of mechanical and process.
- Knowing industry competition and different level of supplier.
- Good communication skills, able to make presentation, and technical proposal. Good knowledge of contract.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must:
- Business development Experience and Skills;
- 10 years worked in steel plant or international engineering company.
- Good knowledge of steel making;
- Good communication skills ( both CN & EN);
- Business oriented skills
