Job Purpose: Responsible for implementing and monitoring the training and talent
development processes and systems as per Group Standards; planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating learning and talent development programs launching by BTMA; assisting pre-opening hotels in setting up learning and development platform.

Key Result Areas:

1. Assist in implementing and maintaining the company talent development programs; i.e.
Mentor Circle, LEAF, Job Swap, etc. by doing the analysis on training required, challenges
in implementation and recommend solutions to ensure effectiveness of associate
development across organization.

2. Track and monitor the learning progress of participating associates in the development
programs, pre/post workshop assignment, including evaluation of management trainees
and their learning activities.

3. Update new profiles of hi-po associates under company talent development programs
including management trainee in online database system as well as offline record, and
coordinate with property learning in-charge to ensure accurate data of existing profile is
maintained in system at all time.

4. Assist Group Managers to implement corporate training program and development
initiatives/projects by reviewing the learning material completion and accuracy,
implementation guidelines, review and report comments from the field to Head of BTMA.

5. Support each property learning in-charge to ensure learning initiatives and/or projects are
appropriately implemented by provide guideline, manual, tools required for
implementation, conduct webinar/conference call to communicate clearly objective and
step/process, and working as help desk when guidance needed along the way.

6. Assist in preparing training plan for new opening hotel based on pre-opening training
checklist and training critical path, conduct orientation for pre-opening hotel learning in-
charge via webinar or on-site. Provide on-site training support as pre-opening task force
per requested.

7. Ensure the most update version of Learning & Development Policy & Procedure manual
available on SharePoint and provide guidance and clarification when asked by user.

8. Prepare consolidated report of talent pool database and specific report of talent
development program i.e. LEAF, Management Trainee, MDP/TMP workshop alumni, etc.
for company management and executives to review.

9. Actively support logistic requirements and other tasks in preparing workshops such as
MDP, TMP, Supervisory/Manager Development workshops, and other learning and
development activities conducted by BTMA.

10. Maintain up-to-date awareness of trend in training and development, specifically where
these directly affect the hospitality industry. Share best practice in learning & development
from internal and external learning organization through SharePoint or Learning Manager
Conference Call with all learning in-charge to keep BTHR learning ahead of general
hospitality industry.

12. Strong computer literate.
