职位描述
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide legal advice regarding matters of corporate governance, labor and employment, supply chain, sales, construction, finance, and other areas of operation.
- Advise on legal issues related to development and sale of power plants.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including supply chain purchase agreements, non-disclosure agreements, service contracts, commercial contracts, real estate contracts, etc.
- Assist with IP support for R&D groups – oversee the identification and protection of innovations in the company’s products.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s ethics and compliance programs.
- Advise company executives and managers on relevant PRC and local laws and regulations, including changes in such laws and regulations.
- Conduct and support internal investigations from time to time.
- Manage outside counsel to support the company’s activities as required, including preparation and oversight of legal expense budgets.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a top-tier school.
- 5-8 years’ experience representing large companies, preferably in manufacturing or power plant industries.
- Licensed to practice law as in-house counsel.
- Passed the National Judicial Examination.
- Relevant experience with a top-tier law firm required.
- Relevant in-house experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated and capable of identifying and resolving legal and business issues, appropriately balancing legal issues with business risk.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sense of humor, professionalism, and ability to work closely with members of different business groups and functions of a global company at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and delivering results.
- Ability to promote positive cooperation with internal clients, and with outside counsel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time, both domestically and internationally.
