Key activities

1. Conduct due diligence for compliance purpose
2. Draft/review various contracts/ agreements such as procurement, supply, general distribution, sales and employment agreements in compliance with local laws and also with internal policies/guidelines.
3. Advise on various corporate affairs/issues.
4. Handle litigation cases.
5. Raise legal compliance awareness through various education initiatives and/or programmes
6. Act as partner with business colleagues to identify options for achieving the company’s objectives within applicable legal constraints;
7. Identify the potential impact to ATOTECH businesses of new laws and regulations and government policies
8. Provide support for other legal tasks as assigned from time to time.

Key Competencies

1. Advanced understanding of PRC law and practice;

2. Excellent Chinese and English language skills – capable of handling day to day business, external negotiations and drafting in both languages;

3. Strong commercial awareness and practically-oriented;

4. Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

5. Excellent Internal personal skills and team player.

Expected years of experience

1. 4 years professional experiences after graduations in which prefer two years in MNCs/ International law firms

2. Experience should include contract law, antitrust law, labour law, and litigation.

3. Admitted to practice before the Chinese bar.

Educational Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in PRC Law and prefer also have postgraduate education.

Language:

Fluency in listening, speaking and writing in both Mandarin and English
