职位描述

Responsibility:

People Recruit, Develop, Cultivate, and Manage people that can deliver results andprovide high standards of service to our customers

Recruit

· To ensure that the Area managers and stores teams are focused on developing the company’s recruitment profile to be one of “an employer of choice” and to focus on recruitment quality based on the Company DNA guidelines.

· To ensure Area and Store managers give priority to recruitment in order to maintain operational standards and meet expansion needs.

· Where necessary to collect the labor market information and to explore different effective recruitment channels in order to ensure market competitiveness and smooth recruitment process.

· Ensure new starters are welcomed into the business in a friendly way and a proper company induction is carried out according to the company guideline


Develop

· To develop and appoint the correct people to fill the competency gaps and build a well balanced team to meet the business needs.

· Create effective plans for people development, succession and retention and ensure they are executed in line with business expansion schedules

· Train and develop Area managers/ Senior Store managers to maximize store performance.

· Ensure all new team members/trainees receive regular feedback during the probation/training period and that a formal meeting is held to review performance

· Participate in design of training material by working with the Market L&D team.

· Ensure training progress in your store cluster is monitored and evaluate test results for improvement opportunities

· In response to business model development and evolution, to work with Market HR team and develop responsibility ands roles to meet changing market and business requirements.

· To identify high performers and promote management from within where possible.

Manage

· To build and sustain an innovative, supportive, positive, energetic and creative work culture

· Ensure the store headcount within the agreed targets while always achieving budget salary %

· Ensure the stability of your store cluster operation by managing the labour turnover and staff retention in a proactive way taking necessary initiatives to maintain staff levels

· Educate area manager and acting area manager to manage human resources effectively and efficiently

· Ensure all store staff work in a safe and healthy environment

· Build a clear understanding of the importance of HIGH standards and purpose within your operation team

· To be a key facilitator in the communication between Store, Region and HO.


ServiceENSURE ALL AREA MANAGERS AND STORE TEAMS ARE SERVICE FOCUSED AND TRAINED IN PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE SO AS TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

· Build a SERVICE MENTALTITY with the Area manager team in order to drive a service culture through to stores.

· Ensure all team members are fully trained in the Watsons basic service standards and these are consistently applied.

· Ensure the Own Label Supervisors and store BA’s are sales focused and trained in product knowledge, Beauty application skills and selling techniques in order to maximise OL brand equity and sales. selling

· Ensure the Area managers and Store managers are managing 3rd party BA’s in a professional manner which promotes cooperation, delivers high service levels and maximises sales.

· Ensure BA absence is measured accurately and reported on time so the Regional Trading team can motivate suppliers to resolve quickly

· Ensure the On-line customer service survey data is used systematically to make improvements to layout, staff scheduling or service capability in order to improve the customers perception of our service offer.

· Ensure customer complaints and negative comments are dealt with professionally and with urgency in order to improve customer perception but also to minimise risk of negative media reporting and PR.

· Ensure best/worst practice across the region and company to drive continuous service improvement.


Product– ENSURE ALL AREA MANAGERS AND STORE TEAMS MANAGE PRODUCT INVENTORY LOGISTICS, PRODUCT MERCHANDISING and DISPLAY IN ORDER TO CREATE A COMFORTABLE SHOPPING ENVIRONMENT WITH HIGH AVAILABILITY.


· Ensure Area Managers and Store teams are fully trained in administrative, stock management procedures and systems to effectively maintain stock accuracy and levels within budgets.

· Ensure the Area Managers and store teams deliver high standards of store and merchandise presentation while adhering to company merchandising principles.

· Ensure the company promotional program is implemented as per the required standards so as to maximize sales

· Make good decisions on the layout planning based on the productive space utilization and customer flow needs.

· To ensure stock levels are managed within agreed targets while ensuring low levels of out of stock

· Ensure all price changes are implemented promptly and accurately to avoid breaking the law.

· Ensure that Trading, Supply chain and Store teams cooperate to manage promotional overstock, slow moving and non moving stock to below budget levels

· Ensure Area Managers and store teams focus on the development of sales performance and brand image of the Watsons OL product ranges.

· Ensure Area Managers and store teams focus on the CRM card customer membership base in order to drive customer spend and loyalty

· Ensure to focus on the product strategies of direct competitors and pass information to Trading or Marketing departments.


QualityENSURE ALL AREA MANAGERS AND STORE DELIVER A GOOD IN-STORE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS and MAINTAIN THE QUALITY OF OUR BRAND IN AND AROUND THE STORE

· Ensure that the condition of your store cluster (decoration, cleaning, repair and maintenance) is always to company standard and to create a comfortable store environment.

· Ensure all Area Managers and Store teams are focused condition of store external and internal graphic images and signage to ensure our brand image is aspirational.

· Ensure all the fixed assets are maintained and repaired where necessary to ensure a high operational and environmental standard.

· Support the Market GM in assessing high quality potential new store opportunities and in creating accurate IRR sales forecasts.


Compliance – ENSURE PROFESSIONAL PROFIT PROTECTION, PROCEDURE MANAGEMENT, FINANCIAL CONTROLS AND ADMINISTRATION

· Ensure all Area Managers and store teams demonstrate a strong understanding of all key company policies and procedures.

· Ensure all Area Managers and store teams comply with all related license and permit requirements and in day to day operations to abide with local laws and regulations.

· Ensure all Area Managers and Store teams are focused on Loss Prevention processes and procedures in order to minimise fraud, accidents and shrinkage

· Ensure all Area Managers and Store teams are focused on cash handling and security to avoid theft or fraud.

· Review relevant reports and other performance data to measure productivity and to determine areas needing cost reduction and productivity improvement


ResultsDELIVER SALES AND PROFIT TO THE COMPANY

· Accept full accountability for the store cluster P & L and make decisions in consultation with the Market GM/OD/OC which will maximise the result.

· Develop initiatives to stimulate top line growth sales growth ensuring budgets are exceeded or achieved as a minimum

· Ensure Area Managers/SSMs are focused and understand the key drivers to maximise sales and profit performance.

· Ensure no loss making stores within your store cluster.

· Ensure you drive Area Managers/SSMs and Store teams to achieve your store cluster KPI targets.

· Keep good relationship with landlord
