Tactical Buyer

 

The purpose of the Tactical Buyer role is to execute the tactical buying process, to plan and execute end-to-end Source to Contract process.

The job also entails to execute Procurement related controls to ensure compliance with Novartis control framework and country law.

Support users with compliance with the processes. This all in support of assigned countries/categories according to the globally defined processes. 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

1. Review/Validate Sourcing Requests in accordance with defined rules, direct users on correct buying channels.

2.Identify sources of supply from preferred supplier lists in accordance with category cards, search for new suppliers if needed.

3. Coordinate & monitor RFx processes (where required).

4. Support users with documentation required to submit shopping carts.

5. In scope procurement categories are marketing services, facilities management, IT, telecoms, meetings and events, business travel, fleet, scientific services, office and print, warehousing and transportation. The Buyer will be responsible for one or multiple categories in the assigned country or cluster.

6.Negotiate and Agree contract conditions with selected suppliers.

7. Initiate Agreement/Contract Creation in CLM system.

8. Manage CDA / NDA creation process.
