Mission of function
- Liaise with the production planner to release Work Orders to workshop.
Contacts (internal / external)
- Manufacturing Manager, Production Group Supervisor, Co-workers, Technical Engineers, Quality Department
Task
- Schedule the production activities in terms of production plan and available resources, monitor the fulfillment of the schedule, and provide feedback of the work order delay to production planner.
- Prioritize work orders for outstanding requirements based on available resources and stock level.
- Daily production data collect, analyze and summarize, perform regular review with superior and Planner, and follow up necessary adjustment on production schedule.
- Assist superior to dispatch necessary overtime and personal leaving, implement shift arrangement planned by superior.
- Coordinate technical issues and maintenance activities to improve production efficiency.
- Provide timely report about the material flow and inventory problems to superior, and re-schedule production according to available resources.
- Update and document the lead-times and cycle times for all processes
- Create and update SAP master data
Knowledge
- University education in Engineering or Science
- At least 2 years experience as production scheduler or related positions
- Be familiar with MS-Office and other office software
- Knowledge in MRP/ERP system, special for SAP-PP is required
- Strong communication skills and task orientation
- Good coordinator between production and other functions
Experience
- At least 3 years experience in mechanical field, especial for small-batch production
- Working experience with foreigners (US, Europe) is an advantage
