Mission of function

- Handle the purchase requisitions from internal customers, achieving cost savings and other procurement-related targets, mainly casting, and machining parts.

Task

1.Providing cost and lead time to Project Procurement Manager or marketing&Sales with responsibility to ensure accurate and reliable proposal cost for the contracted share.

2.Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.

3.Defining of procurement strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of materials. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.

4.Implementing alternative procurement sources to minimize stock replacement time, inventory levels and costs. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.

5.Maintain regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments(in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.

6. Monitoring the national and international market to bring new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.?

7.Producing price forecasts and internal figures to supply basic data for corporate planning(costing data) and reporting.

8.Analysing and controlling of contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.

9.Suppler Management to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain for operative material. Conducting the supporting supplier evaluations, performing economical approval for suppliers and conduct supplier development activities. For strategic material support KCM and Lead Buyers if necessary.

10.Interdisciplinary working group/project work to inform oneself, exert influence and optimize internal processes and procedures.

11.Claim management and support expediting for the material in the responsibility of the postholder.

Experience

- More than 4 years’ procurement experience, some experience with material, casting or machining.

- Good project management experience, good experience of casting.

- Being an expert in casting.

Education and Language
