Introduction:
－We, SLC Export Control & Customs (SLC ECC), are looking for a self driven and highly motivated Export Control & Customs Hub Manager to join the dedicated team.
What are my Responsibilities?
1. Assistance in elaboration, implementation, enforcement and controlling of ICP (based on Siemens ICP); concepts for corporate services, corporate and cross Sector processes, training and review programs within area of responsibility
2. Development, implementation and enforcement of assigned tasks (e.g. training programs, IT applications including CR management, control of operational services) within defined area of responsibility
3. Enforcement of defined governance functions, e.g. inspections and training sessions to ensure Export Control and Customs compliance
4. Advice (incl. functional directive authority) and support of assigned areas of responsibility
5. Preparation of documents related to government authority’s official inquiries and audits
6. Involvement of ECC internal reviews
7. Realization and monitoring of activities, deriving from external audits and internal reviews
8. Organization of Export Control processes /Customs compliance within responsible area and OCs
9. Information update of employees concerning Export Control/ Customs Compliance
10. Conduct trainings based on China ECC training conception and training programs
11. Reporting in accordance with the Siemens Corporate reporting procedures to SLC ECC regularly
12. Participation in national ECC working groups (on demand, based on China ECC or ECCS' instruction)
13. Export Control
－ Involvement in the process of checking end use and end user, according to Export Control guidelines
－ Decisions arising from DAMEX checks
－ Preparation and handling of export licenses as well as fulfilment of license conditions
－ import and export transactions
－ Regular internal reviews; with assistance from China ECC
－ Conducting regular spot checks (monthly)
14. Customs compliance
－ Organizing of origin of goods and Preferential Origin determinations in responsible area and OCs
－ Implementation of regulations for and controlling of Customs Security Programs
－ Import and export transactions
－ identification of goods received pursuant to customs regulations in accordance with China regulations
－ Monitoring of relevant data for customs and customs value declarations
a. Determination of customs value
b. Review of customs value by means of account reconciliation
c. Checking tax assessments
What do i need to qualify for this job?
－8 years or above of Hands-on experience in trade compliance, Export Control - related jobs, supply chain management/logistics, or international transaction operations, or working experience with cutoms authority.
－Education background of legal, finance, or business administration preferred.
