As a FEA Simulation Engineer, you will be a member of the Simulation Engineering team. You will report directly to the Simulation Engineering Center Director. You will be responsible for:
·Performing Finite Element Analysis (with emphasize on solid mechanics) simulation including pre-processing (geometry modeling and grid generation), processing, and post-processing for different applications
·Analysis of simple conceptual to fairly inclusive simulations, depending on design requirements, with the objective of system optimization
·Validation and verification of simulations
·Planning and directing experiments related to designs and/or simulations
·Writing technical documentation and presenting technical reports
·Collaborating with other FEA/CFD simulation engineers
·Communicating effectively with technology, product development and platform engineering groups

·MSc in mechanical engineering with a strong background in linear and non-linear structural analysis and modal analysis
·Knowledge of using COSMOS (or equivalent FEA package) with strong problem-solving skills
·Knowledge of Windows OS environments and general computer skills (such as MS-Word and Excel)
·Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
·Demonstrated capabilities in technical presentation and report writing
·Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
·Practical sense and discerning ability (good judgment)
·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
·A willingness to travel
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
·Familiarity with CFD modeling is a plus
·Familiarity with 1-D system modeling is a plus
·Familiarity with post-processing tools (such as FieldView and/or Tecplot) is a plus
·Practical engineering experience in appliance design is highly desirable
·Experimental testing background will help the candidate
