职位描述

Basic Purpose

Management of 1st and/or 2nd level IS support service to deliver solutions and support business objectives.
Responsible for the lifecycle management of a service and is the main point of contact regarding the status and performance of the service as outlined into eh Service Description.
Be a partner with the client community and IS team members in the setup and ongoing operation of business critical applications and support of their associated user groups.
This role will maintain the quality of the IS support according to the agreed service levels by the close monitoring of the processes, related KPIs, trends and user satisfaction.
Coordinates internal resources and is responsible for the development and upkeep of the Service Roadmap.
Deviations from agreed service levels will be monitored and corrective actions will be addressed to management for support and implementation.
Leading and participation on global project teams, negotiating with vendors and service providers, and responsible for the related IS support.


Accountabilities

Service and Solution Development:
Accountable for the monitoring and delivery of overall application service quality and delivery. Coordinate service delivery on a global level and assure alignment across multiple regions. Responsible for design, architecture and implementation following the defined BI process framework of internal / external support solutions in the own area of responsibility. Performing contract negotiation together with purchasing. Coordination of the setup of the used BI tools, training, access rights, etc. to the assigned support staff.

System, Service and Solution Support:
Propose service improvement on a continuous basis and provide management with recommendations and plans for service optimization opportunities . Responsible to provide maintenance, review, optimization, innovation for the IS support implemented and/or assigned solutions. Takes over Service Lead responsibilities for support solutions. Observe the market and looks for new opportunities. Performing service and vendor management as well as regular reviews of the service quality is in the own area.

Project Activities:
Support goals by participating on or leading project teams. Deliver on assigned tasks and action items. Takes over Project Manager responsibilities for mid size projects.

Technical/Organizational Focus:
Serve as an expert for support solutions and selected organizational aspects /e.g. processes, BI framework,...) in assigned area.
Employ knowledge to influence solutions and decisions. Identify IS or Pharma industry processes or technologies that could provide BI with a competitive advantage.

Documentation and BI Framework:
Understand the BI framework and follow defined processes. Determine documentation requirements and produce documentation as required in support of baseline and project activities

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Processes: Understanding of IT processes (preferable ITIL), basic understanding of business processes
