SUMMARY

The Branch Service Manager plans, prepares, and manages projects from beginning to end in order to maximize productivity and meet customer requirements. The Branch Service Manager manages project cost and productivity to ensure operating plans are met according to schedule. The Branch Service Manager serves as the primary customer interface and the manager responsible for compliance with local legislation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core:
? Plan, prepare, and manage projects from beginning to end by reviewing project requirements, setting up projects and mapping POs, and managing project cost and execution
? Serve as the primary customer interface and communicate with the Customer Service Manager, CSE, and CPM
? Review and verify the forecast to maximize utilization and meet catalog targets
? Review contracts and negotiate terms and conditions
? Communicate with Field Service Coordinators, Resource Managers, EHS Managers, and Staff Project Managers to update the job status and ensure project success on a daily basis
? Lead daily project execution status calls, Day 2 calls, and OEL Day 2 spot check calls to maintain project accountability
? Conduct S-Curve analysis to maximize productivity
? Analyze and report project close out metrics to determine proximity to operating plan targets
? Review revenue pacing & billing and approve supplier invoices
? Manage PO limit reports, placed employees without POs, unbilled shipments, accounts receivable, and credit card aging to remain within cost targets
? Lead shift handover review sessions to improve the effectiveness of future projects
? Implement corrective actions based upon Safety Observations, Advanced Communication Notifications, and Root Cause Analyses
? Interview candidates and assess job qualifications to assist with the recruitment and hiring processes
? Reward and recognize strong performance on the job site
? Perform other duties as assigned

Additional:
? Manage business growth and development by reviewing and verifying the forecast to maximize utilization and meet catalog targets
? Ensure compliance with local EHS, tax, and financial legislation
? Manage tax and social security payment controls and approvals
? Identify vendors and approve supplier invoices
? Manage employee training, integrity issues, cash advances, and performance reviews
? Support employee turnover management
? Own employee requirements including approving timecards and expenses, identifying training and development needs, and managing performance concerns
? Manage POA approvals and office rental and purchasing requirements
? Perform Field Service Coordinator duties as needed


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

? Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
? Proficient in project management
? Knowledge of local EHS, tax, and financial legislation
? Ability to solve complex problems
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines
? Some travel required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with minimum three to five years project management experience; experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or project management experience. Experience with local EHS, tax, and financial legislation preferred.
