职位描述：
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
? Lead the project development of new products to make sure the assigned projects are launched on schedule
? Manage the completion of all structure drawing properly and relevant design and development works
? Provide and recommend the technical solutions to improve product robustness
? Take the lead to negotiate with vendors for tooling agreement
? Provide advice and support on structure projects and any tooling issues
? Provide advice to the project team on the scope, budgeting, staffing of projects and completion of projects on time, within budget and with the highest technical quality
? Involve in conception and development of sheet metal and plastic solid metal parts and appliances
? Involve in product approval testing for home appliances/ audio visual /power system products
? Work closely with design and marketing teams on product innovation and new design of product structure features
? Discuss with OEM suppliers on feasibility of executing design and liaise with the relevant party to ensure the design for manufacturability and quality
? Plan, co-ordinate and implement the product design as per the requirements approved by management
? Monitor and advise OEM supplier to conduct basic tolerance stack up for the parts and subassemblies
? Take the lead to undertake tolerance stack up (2D &3D)
? Plan, co-ordinate to conduct performance / safety / reliability tests on products, subsystems, and components to evaluate and approve new product designs
? Involve in product/ platform evaluation and identify technical abnormalities to ensure that problems are identified and eliminated as early as possible, summarize and communicate the results of tests
? Work with the relevant teams closely to complete the product development cycle
? Participate in creating, reviewing, and upgrading cost and quality of existing products based on data from the field
? Undertake other tasks assigned by Line Manager

REQUIREMENTS:
? Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
? At least 8 years ‘experience in product structure design
? At least 3+ years are in managerial/ supervisory role
? Willingness to stay in Dongguan 5 days per week is a must (Staff dormitory will be provided)
? Proficiency in different drawing software, like Auto-CAD, Pro/E, UG, etc.
? At 2 years of experience in 2D Drawing creation
? Strong experience in developing home appliance products or relevant products.
? Strong experience in conception and development of sheet metal and plastic solid metal parts and appliances
? Solid experience in basic product approval testing for home appliances/ audio visual /power system products
? Strong product knowledge for home appliances/ audio visual /power system products
? Familiar with tooling design, development, manufacturing process (Injection, extrusion, stamping, die casting, etc.) and surface treatment process (anodizing, powder coating, electroplating, etc.)
? Strong experience in tolerance stack up (2D &3D)
? Good knowledge on GB, EMI/EMC, IEC, UL, and related home appliance industry standards
? Good knowledge on Six Sigma (FMEA, SPC, MSE, COV, DOE, etc.)
? Ability to work effectively in a team and dynamic environment
? Excellent leadership, project management and problem-solving skills
? Excellent communication skills with good command in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
? Pro-active, hunger for success, organized and self-motivated
? Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
