职位描述/Job Description:
General Summary
Under the direction of the Product Manager, the Product Engineer is responsible for product development and sourcing, suppliers developing, ongoing production monitoring, quality improvements and some other related activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Work closely with supplier for product design, prototype production, components development, and materials vendor qualification.
2.Coordinate product development, packing and label design with suppliers and Corporate Product development team, marketing & sales team.
3.Supplier development and audit, qualification, product sourcing, and execute Corporate supply base development strategies.
4.Develop, manage, and nurture new suppliers and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals, including assisting in the negotiation of product costs and contract items.
5.Coordinate product certifications with suppliers, communicate and set-up relationships with key industry associations, trade groups and standards bodies.
6.Establishing, maintaining and improving the supplier quality assurance and development system. Manage on-going quality assurance measurements and goals.
7.Manage product quality in supplier site and ensure the quality requirements are meet,
8.Updating and maintaining quality standard and new requirements introduction.
9.Manage the final product pre-shipment inspection base on p/o arrangement and review the final report.
10.Manage and analyze measure data collections, quality data recorded, perform the database analysis and improvement by weekly/monthly.
11.Handle all quality complains from inspector, auditor, marketing, follow up CAP. Timely feedback the corrective action report.

Qualifications & Skills
1.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related majors.
2.3 years experiences in refrigerator, cooling or air-conditioning product development preferred.
3.Excellent electro-mechanical aptitude, good sense of home appliance design.
4.Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets professional and technical journals in English and Chinese. Good spoken and written English.
5.Good organizational, planning and implementing skills.
6.Familiar with quality systems methods and quality engineering practices (APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Lean manufacturing concepts, etc.).
7.Excellent in Excel, MS-Project, PowerPoint.
8.Logic thinking, clear target orientation, good cooperation skills, high sense of responsible and can work independently.
9.Ability to travel 30% of the time, and obtain a visa to travel outside of China required.
