职位描述
Responsibilities and duties:
1. Communicate the Regional H&S Policies and Procedures and help projects in their implementation of all policies & procedure.
2. Review work accident reporting and investigation process of Veolia China projects and support / advise on areas for improvement or revision where necessary.
3. Analyze work incident statistics and assess the areas for concern or vulnerability on which improvements maybe required.
4. Support projects in the training of HSE staff and all employees to improve overall safety sense.
5. Support Veolia China projects by developing and maintaining templates of safe working procedures / work instructions and other H&S documents.
6. Support Veolia China projects by sourcing suitable suppliers of H&S equipment & products.
7. Review of the Chinese H&S regulations and update Veolia China projects of new regulations that could impact them.
8. Support Veolia China projects by carrying out audits of operational or construction sites.
9. Support Veolia China projects by advising them in of best practice and industry standards.
10. Show flexibility and be able to accommodate additional work related to the objectives of the role
Preferred qualifications:
1. Bachelor Degree in, Health & Safety, with experience in Chemistry.
2. Experience in foreign enterprises in China in a similar role (petrochemical, chemical or agrichemical or chemical manufacturing)
3. Good English skill (writing & spoken) with CET 4 minimum (CET 6 is preferable)
4. 2 years' in H&S support experience in multi-national company
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated Analytical and deductive reasoning skills
6. Will be required to travel for work (Weekdays Mon-Fri mostly)
7. Role will require overtime on occasion in preparation for training, site visits and investigations
8. Customer focused personality
9. Ability to work independently to complete tasks and call for assistance when they cannot solve problems
Location background and nature of activities:
1. Based in Shanghai
2. Travel to numerous sites within and all around China
3. Potential travel Overseas for training and seminars
