Develops and coordinates external communication programs in order to ensure a positive image of Continental and position the plant as employer of choice and a good citizen of the community
Ensures alignment of all communications to corporate, divisional and local business objectives, by constantly exchanging with and assisting the Locations Communications Tires
Establishes and maintains good relations with the local media, the local authorities, important institutions and the community - as speaker of the Hefei plant
In charge of editing all plant related communication materials: press releases, media statements, articles, presentations, speeches, etc. according to the corporate guidelines
Authorized person to represent Continental at meetings organized by local authorities or various institutions - if delegated in this function by the general manager
Manages the internal communication with all stakeholders by promoting Continental as attractive employer internally
Responsible for implementing professional internal communication tools (newsletter, internal letter, infoboards, intranet, internal TV, town-hall meetings, etc.), in order to ensure a motivated workforce in the Hefei plant
Recommends, writes and disseminates information relevant it the plant in internal media
Responsble the local management in internal and external labor relations communication
Take the lead for the Labor relation related affairs or activities: solve the labor arbitration cases professionally, also take preventive actions to prevent any employement conflict.
Support for labor union related tasks management together with Labor union committee members.
Responsible for the plant's event management, advertising and external agency relations
Defines, develops and implements with the management board a crisis communication strategy for the Hefei tires plant
Actively consults and supports the management in all communication topics
Provides communication training to Management / Supervisors

1. Bachelor in Communication and/or PR or related field of study or comparable educational / professional experience
2. At least 5 years of professional experience
3. Proven project management skills
4. must have leading people experience
5. Preferrably at least 3 months of international experience abroad or work in international teams
