Job description: Development of digital technology for base station products
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototyping, design & implementation of digital hardware according to the Requirement Specification.
- Integration, verification and test reporting of the product on the module/unit level.
- Responsible for quality of all the deliverables within schedule & cost budget.
Requirement:
- MSc/BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related major
- about 3 years working experience in digital hardware design or hardware test
- Technology knowledge about processor architectures, memories (DDR3,..), high speed bus systems (PCI, PCI-E, sRIO, GbE), clock generation and distribution
- Experience with design tools (e.g. Mentor Boardstation)
- Experience in applying logic analyzers, high speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and microprocessor debugger
- Manual capability in handling of electronic boards (modifications in the LAB) and preparation of LAB – implementations
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Good understanding of HW development process
- Signal integrity knowledge and ability to solve SI-problems
- Knowledge of 3GPP, CPRI, OBSAI standards is a plus.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g. Hyperlynx, ADS) is a plus
- Knowledge of script/programming languages like C, Python, Tcl/Tk is a plus
