Responsibilities

• You will lead EEA related development
  
  
  
  • understand & analysis local and global technical requirements and market trend, analysis use cases, solutions, and technical roadmap
  
  
  • define function range and feature list from vehicle level, system level and component level, develop innovation E/E architecture concept, system and subsystem design
  
  
  • Modelling of different system design possibilities in function development tool e.g. Preevision for comparison and documentation (functional, component, network, wiring and vehicle topology model)
  
  
  • Responsible for zonal concept design, include requirement analysis, architecture design, system simulation PoC demo development, test and validation
  
  
  • Lead SOA related system design and implementation, responsible for the sub systems definition, use cases design
  
  
  
  


• Feasibility study for new concepts/ideas from technology side and market side, perform system level analysis and generate system concept. Capture and analyze requirements, new ideas/ concept and potential risks and boundaries in application, responsible for project time, cost and final deliverables.


• Tracking/collecting automotive related market trend, new technology and new application, close monitor regulations/ association and industry standards/ specifications.


• Cooperate with the internal and external stakeholders – Product Center /Sales / Marketing / Business Development / Program management internally and Customer engineering teams/ suppliers / universities/ industry associations/ government agencies externally.


• Coordinate the innovation activities in company, develop key technical competencies and establish a strong network with internal and external engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Automotive engineering, electrics/electronics engineering background


• 8 Year+ work experience, 5 + years in EEA development area. SOA development experience preferred


• Experience in EE architecture platform development, lead EE platform architecture planning and functional development system construction is preferred


• Familiar with vehicle E/E architecture development process and requirement management methodology, good understanding of vehicle communication network, diagnose etc.


• Familiar with EEA development tools e.g. PREEvision, Systemweaver. Experienced in Autosar AP/CP development.


• Open mind for innovation, capable to think in system level, good communication skills.


• Self-motivated and self-learning; like new technology and new challenges.


• Fluent written and spoken English

Hella’s Nanjing location is the newest addition to our group of development centers in China. In Nanjing, the Hella electronics and lighting divisions will be combined in one office. As the electronic content of automotive lighting products continues to increase, synergies between the lighting group and the electronic group will be more important in the years to come . Over the next three years the Nanjing facility will grow to over 200 engineers. Additional e x pansion in Nanjing is planned to include a test lab and a nearby production site.
