职位描述
Finished product suppliers quality management. Dealing with D2D quality issues for new projects and existing projects. Delivering PIQ and PPAP according to the WPD process . Problem solving for D2D quality issues, and continuously driving suppliers to reduce their product failure rate. Products include water treatment products, dehumidifiers, laundries and so on.
1. Work with a cross functional team including suppliers on new projects. Deliver PIQ (Purchase item qualification) & PPAP according to project schedule.
2. Work with 3rd party to conduct the early production containment, to perform NPI inspection.Witness the significant samples building for NPIs during product launch, solve the quality issues with a solid action plan, verify and validate the efficiency of action plans, to ensure products comply with Whirlpool’s quality, performance, reliability and other requirements.
3.Work with global regional quality colleagues to analyze the top failures. Drive continuous improvement to reduce global failure rate, via delivering sample return analysis, and delivering TCQ projects. Utilize 8D or A3 to track significant quality issues, monitor till issues are closed.
4.Work with a global quality team, and lead certain strategic projects within the finished product quality team. Work with 3rd party to qualify new suppliers, manager and coach suppliers to improve their quality system according to GSQA, and develop suppliers if their GSQA is lower than acceptance.
1. Bachelor Degree or above in engineering or Scientific.
2. 3-5 years above in quality, prefer to have experience in major or small appliance industry.
3. Fluent English/Mandarin in both oral and written.
4.Knowledge of product/process quality management as well as product development in major appliances, small appliances.
5. Be able to travel domestically and also be able to have short international travel if required occasionally.
6. Understanding ISO9001 & IATF system requirements, a certified internal system auditor is preferred.
7. Understanding APQP, PPAP, 8D concepts and being able to utilize them.
8. Flexible working time, and being able to join the evening call with the global team. (2-4 hours night call during working day)
9. Certified Six sigma black belt is preferred. (Be able to use and understand SPC, MSE, CPK minimum)
