ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Design and validate the software within an agreed delivery timeline, and according to the software design rules in place to meet requested quality objectives. Assure the software maintenances and the corrective actions in case of problems or improvements linked with software
Establish the software development plan describing the main development phases, from the specification analysis up to the software validation plan.
Establish the various checking steps from static tests (audits and software reviews) as well as verification and validation software test plans
Assist the team or the pre-study leader for the technical choices ( mainly the micro-controller ) and for the estimations of the software development times
Define the functionalities for internal uses (software for tests, reliability, quality …).
Assist the customer in the requirements and functions definition. To establish the functional (or software) specification and get its agreement by the customer

QUALIFICATIONS:
Electronic/computer engineering graduated with a strong experience in object oriented software (Builder C, VC, VB) language with basic knowledge or previous experience in C and assembly language on Firmware.
Strong experience in developing object oriented software
Experience in developing embedded firmware
Have a basic knowledge of the electronic manufacturing processes ( mainly test equipments and test techniques ).
Have good communication ability and team work spirit ( can work in a team of several firmware engineers on the same project ), have open mind and be creative and innovative.
A similar experience in Appliance or Industrial automation (using C++, windows base) industry.
