Planning
?    Read, study, and understand request for proposals, contracts and purchase orders.
?    With input from AdvX PM and other stakeholders, prepares the project scope of work, budget, detailed task/deliverable list, and schedule utilizing a work breakdown structure
?    Perform conceptual engineering and design during project development phase.  Activities include work scope development, scope of supply, and Level 1 schedule.
?    Develop indicative and budgetary cost estimates during project development phase for turnkey project.
?    Assists the AdvX PM in preparation of the Project Workplan to guide the project team in the delivery requirements and strategies to meet performance obligations (performance guarantees, budget and schedule).
?    Comply with LJU Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures and guidelines and assure compliance of project team members
?    Work with AdvX PM to define resource needs and provide forecast updates regularly.
?    Work with procurement to develop project sourcing plan.
Execution
?    Develops project delivery work plan, including work package list by WBS, Division of Work, and deliverables list
?    Communicates project information with all team members and stakeholders, maintaining good flow of information between all team members.
?    Assists the PjM in developing and maintaining a project action items list.
?    Directs team members in areas of technical work tasks, technical problem resolutions, schedule, and budget
?    Assists the AdvX PM in managing the technical project delivery to meet the milestones of the project schedule.
?    Coordinates the issuance of project deliverables.
?    Works with the subcontractors to ensure project scope requirements are met
?    Assists AdvX PM and procurement in bid solicitations, evaluations, purchase order and subcontract awards and vendor followup (surveillance and expediting).
?    Acts as a primary interface with the client on technical issues, responding to requests in a timely and appropriate manner.
?    Addresses engineering, design, procurement, and construction issues, helping to facilitate resolution of inter-discipline problems.
?    Ensure supplier and support service subcontractors (i.e. engineering, construction, other specialty services) develop and adhere to execution plan that supports the needs for the overall project
?    Leads and/or oversees constructability review and ensures implementation of identified changes.
Control
?    Develops and maintains a QA log consisting of a list of performance and contract critical items requiring additional review/checking and independent verification.
?    Coordinates additional reviews/verification of project deliverables and determines the impact of design decisions to the contractual obligations.
?    Develops cost estimates and scope description of potential change orders for AdvX PM’s review and approval.
?    Review all work performed by the project team after its execution and before its release to anyone outside of LJU to ensure that the work meets the following criteria:
?    The work is complete in accordance with the defined scope of work, the established design criteria and the agreed-upon design concept.
?    The work has been coordinated with the other team members and stakeholders. 
?    Independent Technical Review and verification has been completed.
?    The work will meet the requirements of the project and the Client, meets or exceeds LJU standards, complies with the project schedule and cost, and the specific requirements of the Client as to preferences.
?    Assist the AdvX PM in producing Estimates to Complete (ETC’s) and updates to task/deliverables list on a regular basis (at a minimum, monthly – 1 week prior to close of accounting period).
?    Identifies lessons learned with engineering work processes and recommends a corrective action plan.
？    Assists the AdvX PM in conducting a “Lessons Learned” meeting at the conclusion of the project.

?    Strong skills in communication, coordination, delegation, time management, negotiation, and management of technical and financial performance
?    Ability to perform conceptual engineering and develop detailed work scopes for all disciplines
?    Ability to perform combustion calculations and develop heat and material balances to establish preliminary design and system capacities
?    Ability to develop indicative (Class 5) to budgetary (Class3) material and equipment cost estimates
?    Multi-discipline technical knowledge and experience, time management, organization, multitasking
?    Ability to direct and coordinate multi-discipline teams, equipment suppliers, and construction and engineering partners
?    Position will require travel to customer facilities
