Key Responsibilities

    

● Ensure Commodity Strategy implementation;

    

● Deploy and implement the Supplier Quality Manual;

    

● Drive sustainable Q performance improvement for zero defects at assigned suppliers;

    

● Perform supplier capability assessment and process audit (acc. VDA 6.3) at assigned suppliers;

    

● Ensure deployment of Component Qualification Process (CQP) at assigned suppliers;

    

● Lead all necessary tasks of the CQP including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP);

    

● Lead the resolution of repetitive or customer claims with root cause analysis at suppliers;

    

● Validate corrective actions at supplier's location in claims handling process;

    

● Set the level of supplier escalation (acc. New Business on Hold (NBoH) procedure);

    

● Be responsible for quality targets by supplier in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process;

    

● Ensure continuous improvement process (CIP) at assigned suppliers to increase supplier's capability and productivity;

    

● Ensure conclusion of Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA) for all assigned suppliers in cooperation with Commodity Buyers;

    

● Comply with WABCO and Sourcing & Purchasing (S&P) rules and policies;

    

● Improve processes in collaboration with S&P Business Improvement Team

    

● Be responsible for approving documents with safety related content (i.e. PPAP attachments)

Experience

    

● Degree in Engineering

    

● Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality

    

● Minimum 2 years shop floor experience in a manufacturing environment

    

● Automotive experience in matrix environment is an asset
