Job Description Details:

   

Job Summary: The Senior Systems Analyst will provide technical/functional skills in the ASCP/Inventory/Procurement core area of expertise for back office transformation across Ingersoll Rand enabled by implementation of an Oracle ERP system. This position will be part of the ERP team working with various locations around the world to design, and implement a single business solution/system utilizing Oracle R12.

  

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical activities related to large ERP implementations, including partnering with technical staff resources on/off shore. Responsible from requirements gathering through design, development and implementation.

• Provide Functional skills in the design, development and implementation of application reports, interfaces, conversions and extensions (RICE) to meet the needs of the business and project scope.

• Assist with business process re-engineering utilizing best business practices supported by Oracle e-Business Suite in the core area of expertise to improve productivity and customer interaction

• Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards

• Responsible for process, data analysis, data clean-up, conversion and validation

• Develop and perform detailed unit and integration testing, cut-over planning, and execution

• Ensure alignment with the PMO to follow common processes, methodology and framework for implementation

• Facilitate key stakeholders alignment and engagement for the program; holding stakeholders accountable for delivering against their commitments

                     

Key Competencies:  

• They will be motivational thought leaders, driven individuals, and possess exceptional business acumen, coupled with strong working knowledge of ERP implementations specifically in Inventory and Procurement 

• Demonstrated experience with: (1) Creation of complex interfaces/extensions, (2) Support of large ERP instances, (3) Management of data conversion activities, (4) Unit/Regression/Integrated/Stress testing plans and execution, (5) Cutover planning.

• Working knowledge of a system development methodology

• Diligent attention to detail and quality of outputs

• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities

• Experience implementing, designing and enforcing project management methodology and controls.

• Ability to quickly prioritize issues/requests and be capable of personally diving deep when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated timeframe.

• Works well under pressure and can resolve complex problems

• Works in a collaborative fashion, elevates team results over individual results.

• Excellent communication skills, presenting, listening and informing. Can communicate upward and downward.

          

  Qualification:                         

• 5 – 7 years of ERP implementation experience, with hands on working experience

• 5 – 7 years extensive experience with Oracle Core Modules of ASCP, Inventory and Procurement.  Knowledge of other modules is essential.

• Manufacturing industry experience a plus

• BS degree required

• 25-50% travel may be required
