1.Strategy & Planning
- Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
- Manages and steers Strategic Workforce Planning, HR Planning & Controlling, HR Reviews & Audits, Organizational Changes, Culture Development, Diversity Management
- Contributes as a member of the client group’s management team to business strategy and operational goal setting to reach business/department objectives and expectations.
- Acts as voice for the assigned client business into the HR management team (policy and process owners) regarding trends affecting HR, demographic development, and client business needs. Introduces/ implements new HR related services & processes into assigned organization.
2.Employer Branding, Recruiting & Staffing
- Steers Employer Branding in region / location, acts as an ambassador
- Recruiting & Sourcing - Recruits key talents for the internal client
- Manages and supports Impatriates / Expatriates based on International Mobility Policies
3.Talent & Performance Management
- Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
- Derives trends in development needs, alerts organization to critical areas for succession planning, etc.
- Supports and guides managers as well as individual employees in HRD and performance management processes in accordance with country specific legal regulations, CoE guidance, and company guidelines and ensures execution of measures
4.Learning & Training
- Steers nominations for Leadership & Talent Development Programs for target groups in location
- Identifies gaps in training
- Steers competency Management, training delivery and Vocational Training Management (if applicable)
5.Compensation & Benefits
- Steers and Manages Job Evaluation, Compensation Policies and Programs, Compensation Market Benchmarking,Benefits &Pensions, Policies & Programs
- Steers and facilitates annual Salary Review
6.Labour & Employee Relations
- Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the location
- Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client
- Manages Union & Employee Representative Relationships, Labour Relations & Legal as well as Employee Relations
- Ensures legal compliance for area of responsibility.
- Guides employees and superiors in employee relations conflict resolution (i.e. absenteeism management, working schedules coordination, performance improvement action planning)
- Responds to employee relation issues such as employee concerns, harassment, and discrimination complaints. Conducts internal investigations as necessary.
- Acts as company representative to outside organizations as assigned (courts, recruiting, fairs, local networks, unemployment hearings)
7.HR Administration & Services
- Ensures effective administration of respective processes and policies by using internal or external services
- Coordinates the interface to service centers (SC) regarding the full portfolio of HR related services (e.g. payroll, Benefits Administration)
- Coordinates the interface to centers of expertise (CoE) regarding the full portfolio of HR related processes (e.g. Human Resource Development (HRD), Compensation, etc.)
Ensures records compliance for area of responsibility (i.e. record retention of compensation decisions, performance management, etc.)
- Is responsible for all administrative activities related to the generalist task in the area of responsibility
- Ensures local legal compliance with HR activities within scope of responsibility
- Monitors time management and HR modules in SAP
- Continuously monitors quality of performed tasks and ensures high quality of performance
8.Other
-Develops HR team members for succession pipeline of HR BP
- Supports the organisation regarding relevant HR IT Systems: HR IT Operations & User Support (e.g. MySuccess…); HR Process Management; Conti Idea Management (CIM); Internal Administrative Tasks; Employee Surveys;
- Provides expert coaching to management and ensures timely, effective execution of all local operational HR related work (i.e. personnel selection and placement, transfer and separation, succession planning at operational levels, compensation decisions, local organizational design, employee relations coaching for management, discipline and performance management).
- Introduces/ implements new HR related services & processes (from SC's and CoE's) into assigned organization
- Accompanies and implements change projects in his/her area of responsibility together with management of respective organizational units and internal/external experts (if applicable)
- Leads and implements HR projects in the assigned area of responsibility
- Participates in other business projects, representing HR
Job Required
1.Education / Certification
-Required – Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, social science or related area.
-Preferred – Master’s degree in business, psychology, social science or related area."
2.Professional Experience
-Senior HRBP: minimum 5 years experience.
-Junior HRBP: minimum 2 years experience.
-Cross-functional Experience – Has gained insight into different departments / functions / BUs (through projects or assignments). Has (ideally) 3 years experience in the relevant function.

In September 2009, as the first manufacturing investment of Continental Tire Division in China, and an important foreign direct investment project of Anhui province, Continental Tires (China) Co. Ltd., was established.
In May,2011, PLT begins production. Since then, Hefei Plant is developed from Phase I to Phase III. And Phase IV is kicked off. Moreover, Two Wheel Plant, R&D Test Center, APAC Training Center, CSS Workshop are launched in Hefei. Till now, we have more than 1800 employees in Hefei Plant.
The factory has the high degree of the production automation which achieves the international advanced level. Along with the development of the new projects which include the new two wheels factory as well as the expansions of the research and development center and the tire factory for passenger vehicles in stage four, respectively, the company will recruit more people with lofty aspirations to join it.
