THE HEAD OF MARKETING FOR LEADING CONSUER COMPANY

Job Responsibilities
l Leads all activities for products including pricing, promotion, trade marketing, product portfolio management, advertising/ PR, product/line extensions and innovation
l Develops, directs, and measures aggressive execution of strategic annual plan in order to attain brand volume and profit commitments
l Analyzes P&L and identifies issues, recommends and implements necessary action plans to achieve objectives
l Manages advertising & promotion budgets, recommends advertising and promotion strategies
l Analyzes all market intelligence and monitor competitive developments and respond as needed to insure delivery of plan
l Works very closely with sales team to support all key customer activities and overall brand sales objectives
l As a champion for the business, the Director of Marketing will build a close working relationship with Sales, R&D, Finance and Logistics both locally and in the Los Angeles office, to insure understanding and alignment with corporate strategies
l Includes frequent travel: Market visits, key customer visits, U.S. plant visits, sales meetings, conferences etc.
Candidate Requirements
l Bachelor degree in business, marketing, finance or other related discipline; MBA preferred
l Excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and in English
l Demonstrated ability to develop and manage organizations and build high performance teams; project management skills
l Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans
l Comfortable in a high-growth entrepreneurial environment
l Experience across media in China (broadcast, PR, digital)
l Holistic view on business; Business savvy; focus on making the bottom line
l Strong financial acumen, prior P&L responsibility
l Experience leading and working cross-functionally
l Proven experience working collaboratively with Sales team to drive business results
l Prior experience managing direct reports
l Facile with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Email
