Work location: 广州
General Summary
Under the direction of the Product and Quality Manager, the Product and Quality Engineer is responsible for product development and sourcing, suppliers developing, ongoing production monitoring, quality improvements and some other related activities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with supplier to streamline the new product development including coordinate the concept design, prototype, packing, label design, certification, customer requirement, etc. until the production.
2. Responsible for new and existing suppliers’ assessment.
3. Responsible for collecting and analyzing any opportunity for new product and new supplier.
4. Responsible for Engineering Change Request (ECR) until the implementation in field.
5. Build operation procedures, standards, customer requirements, product spec, inspector training, inspection standard and etc..
6. Supplier quality control and review, Verify Lots Reject Rate, Production Line Walking audit, Drive for corrective action plan.
7. Correction & verification of PSI failure and customer complaint, correction & verification of process audit during production.
8. Quality data collection and analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related majors.
2. 3 years experiences in refrigerator, cooling or air-conditioning product development preferred.
3. Excellent electro-mechanical aptitude, good sense of home appliance design.
4. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets professional and technical journals in English and Chinese. Good spoken and written English.
5. Good organizational, planning and implementing skills.
6. Familiar with quality systems methods and quality engineering practices (APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Lean manufacturing concepts, etc.).
7. Excellent in Excel, MS-Project, PowerPoint.
8. Logic thinking, clear target orientation, good cooperation skills, high sense of responsible and can work independently.
9. Ability to travel 50% of the time.
10. Possess the following personal qualities: integrity, creativity, high standards, commitment, ethical values, and achievement oriented.
