Position Summary
1. Perform as core task force on analysis, bidding and negotiation. Coordinate cross functional efforts on exploring cost saving initiatives and execution of annual cost saving projects
2. Responsible for supplier cost management, including analysis/tracking/updating of material & currency trend, Supplier Profitability, Supplier Pricing Mechanism, Supplier Book of Business, etc. Responsible for Supplier Financial Assessment. Co-work with teams on resourcing projects for supplier base optimization and risk prevention.
3. Responsible for Should Cost Model development and maintenance. Provide timely & effective support on Should Cost analysis to teams like PM, finance, marketing, sales, senior management, and other Masco BUs.
Essential duties:
1. Coordinate with cross functional teams and suppliers for development of annual cost out initiatives and action plans.
2. Follow up execution of annual cost out projects with cross functional teams and suppliers. Responsible for tracking and updating for progress of all cost saving projects.
3. Conduct Supplier Financial Assessment in the 1st quarter of every year.
4. Responsible material price and currency rates tracking and publishing on monthly basis.
5. Responsible for Supplier Pricing Mechanism and phase-end JDE update.
6. Responsible for Supplier Profitability Analysis and updating on 4-month basis.
7. Maintain Supplier Book of business.
8. Develop Should Cost Model for assigned product categories. Maintain Should Cost Model with accuracy above 95%.
9. Perform as core task force on cost analysis and negotiations. Provide advice and support as needed to other departments or management on Should Cost analysis and cost out solutions.
10. Co-work with PM team on bidding, negotiation and resourcing.
11. Co-work with ENG and CI team for VE projects and Kaizen event. Train factories on best practices of reducing wastage and improving productivity and cost competitiveness. 举报 分享
