Support the Asia region Leadership Team in understanding financial and administrative information. This position will work closely with Regional Coordinator to ensure the understanding of the accounting & tax compliance a long with any other financial policy. Responsible to prepare analysis & guidance to the Asia Leadership Team during business analysis by identifying root causes of the business’ discrepancies vs the plan.
As their China Finance Director, your responsibilities include:
1. Creates business expansion plans, sales annual plans, periodic forecasts, and other strategic analysis;
2. Participate in various structured and ad hoc planning and analysis projects;
3. Provide tax, insurance, and other reports required by governmental regulations;
4. Direct all aspects of Greater China financial and accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts;
4. Design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency;
5. Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data and revenue in accordance with U.S. GAAP, as well as local statutory;
6. Ensure Sox compliance, credit, and cash flow targets are met;
7. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Greater China finance and accounting function.
Required skills:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance;
2. CPA, MBA, or other equivalent professional qualifications;
3. Fluent English skills; solid communication and presentation skills;
4. 10+ years of post-qualification experience in financial management and accounting;
5. 5+ years of people management experienceKnowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including U.S. GAAP;
6. Previous experience in a Big 4 company or public practice is a plus;
7. Experience working with an ERP system; Oracle R12 knowledge is an advantage;
8. Knowledge of statutory, financial, and tax regulations for PRC, Hong Kong, and Taiwan;
9. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
