Key responsibilities:



Overall responsibility for the construction of the new plant

Responsible for effective planning and coordinating of engineering construction works to complete within the established budget, schedule and quality standard

Working closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, Purchasing, HR, and IT to synchronize functional activities

Drive for the results and deliver project target timing, quality and within budget of construction projects

Managing vendors and supplier and follow up of the execution of service contracts.

Responsible for day-to-day (EQHS) Environment, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety issues.

Propose, review and update project plans.

Analyze and/or propose modifications (if necessary and subject to approval) to improve the facility's efficiency and performances.

Write, review and update work procedures.

Track the project's financial budget, and propose or/and inform any modification in the budget.

Ensure that its health and safety policies, procedures and regulations (based on China laws) are implemented followed.


Requirements:


Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering

10 to 12 years of related experience including at least 3 years in a project manager capacity. Start-up experience will be a strong advantage.

Excellent networking skills to deal and build a good relationship with local government.

Good understanding of the Chinese law and regulations.

Able to communicate in English..

Excellent planning and organizing skills.

Good conceptual skills and creativity to suggest new and effective ways of doing things.

Adaptable with a can-do attitude.

Analytical and logical in problem solving.

Resourceful and driven to accomplish the tasks independently.
