We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will

?- To manage branch network under the responsibility and to lead, manage and motivate a team of Relationship Managers whose responsibilities cover all aspects of service and sales activities, commercial lending, business marketing, maximizing return for the Group through customized products and excellent service, and through leveraging the Group's local and international network, with particular emphasis on robust and sustainable excellence in sales and service built upon good training, motivation and development of best-of-breed relationship managers.
- To maximize the team and related profitability by driving business and cross selling other group member's products and services;
- To build an efficient branch network and operation with high service standards and well-trained staff;
- To contribute to the development of a leading market position through maintaining good local relations with customers, the regulators and government authorities
- To contribute to the enhancement of the HSBC brand name;
- To maintain HSBC high internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring;
- To safeguard the Bank from potential losses due to bad debts, non-compliance with local regulations/procedures.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

?- Minimum five years of commercial banking experience, 
- In-depth understanding of general banking business and practice, local market knowledge preferred;
- Sound knowledge of compliance regulations and risk management;
- Strong leadership and people management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and Mandarin;
- Experience in driving Greater China business referrals an advantage.
