Global Asset Management

HSBC Global Asset Management, the core investment business of the HSBC Group, and is a leader in emerging markets funds. The business has a worldwide client base of private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. HSBC Global Asset Management fulfils its purpose of connecting these customers with investment opportunities through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will

 

• ？？Supporting COO & Head of Operations in developing and implementing the middle & back office strategy for Asset Management business, on both system and operating model.
• Ensuring that the business operations of asset management business are both effectively and efficiently managed. This includes adherence to Group and regulatory standards, the appropriate deployment of resources, the attainment of agreed operating plan objectives and the day-to-day management of the business.
•  Ensuring effective management of respective controls.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

• ？ At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in and faimilarity with TA & FA operations of fund industry or Asset Management business industry in mainland China.
•  Good track record with prior experience of managing operations functions and strong process mind-set, with change management and business transformation skill.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required. 
•  Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
