Global Asset Management

HSBC Global Asset Management, the core investment business of the HSBC Group, and is a leader in emerging markets funds. The business has a worldwide client base of private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. HSBC Global Asset Management fulfils its purpose of connecting these customers with investment opportunities through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

    

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

• Develop the overall Wholesale distribution strategy and service model for asset management business.
• Manage personnel and resources to ensure Wholesale Business is able to fulfil its roles and responsibilities
• Drive sales, AUD and revenue growth for Wholesale business across Group and 3rd party channels in China.
• Implement effective sales management and servicing to ensure high customer satisfaction level
• Work with Product Development to develop a robust product pipeline to support the business
• Ensure WB activity is accurately represented in documentation across the business
• Participate in Management Committee and other governance forums to represent the department and to contribute to the business strategy.
• Ensure that all department activities are conducted in compliance with all laws, rules, regulations and procedures, in accordance with best market practice and HSBC/AMG Group policies. In particular, to make sure written practices are in place, revised as necessary to keep them up to date and understood by all employees who are appropriately trained, qualified and approved for the positions that they fill, and kept informed of all relevant changes to applicable rules and regulations.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

• ？Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong networking and relationship management skills
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proven leadership skills and Ability in leading a wholesale distribution team
• Proven Sales track record
• Deep understanding of China's asset management market, industry and competitor trends
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• A degree qualified with at least 10 years’ experience in financial industry and preferably with at least 3 years in an asset management company.
