We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 
In this role, you will
  • Drive and coordinate the execution of China Outbound and Belt and Road initiative, including strategy paper, initiatives formulation, drive actions and track the deliverables.

  • Drive the in-country execution of the Group's BRI strategy to drive revenue and achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.

  • Formulate/review customer account strategies and liaise with Clusters/Branches assigning prospects and opportunities to GRMs / ISB / BB RMs.

  • Develop metrics and reporting mechanisms that monitor execution of the Belt and Road strategy.

  • Interpret and communicate latest the Belt and Road developments and regulations

  • Lead tactical projects to ensure that market firsts are attained for key products.

  • Support Head of China Outbound and BRI in achieving several initiatives

  • Devise strategy to raise the Belt and Road awareness/knowledge for front-line colleagues

  • Participate in the meetings with major/high level BRI clients as required, in order to provide guidance, resolve any issues, and facilitate smooth operations and services with these clients, thus building loyalty and client satisfaction

  • Establish the agenda for internal education and external marketing.

  • Deepen customer relationships through championing business co-operation with key stakeholders including Global Business, Global Products and Global Functions, to contribute to BRI strategy.





Qualifications



To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

  • ??Coordinate the Belt and Road initiatives with stakeholders from different businesses / products / functions and very often across geographies.

  • Understand the fast changing market dynamics and respond swiftly by interpreting new rules / regulations for the businesses to capture opportunities, while complying with all internal/external regulatory requirements.

  • Understand the interest of various stakeholders and drive changes accordingly to support the Belt and Road despite competing priorities in the Bank.

  • Design and manage MI working closely with Finance and Analytics to support business needs.

  • Keep abreast of latest development of the Belt and Road and serve as a centre of excellence for RMB and China related topics.

  • Serve as subject matter expert to handle enquiries from internal / external stakeholders.

  • Build relationships with government officials and regulators in China to capture opportunities during ideas exchange.

    Experience requried

  • University graduate or above.
  • Frontline experience, in managing CMB corporate clients, required

  • Good understanding and knowledge of how a GRM role is conducted - working with HSBC group markets.

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills applicable through written, spoken, workshops and presentation channels.

  • Robust analytical and interpretation skills over dynamic market and regulatory changes.

  • 4-5 years relevant experience in CMB.
  • Language skills in spoken and written Mandarin; fluent spoken and written English.
