Global Asset Management

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will

The role is the primary point of accountability for Asset Management Operations, providing a single point of escalation for different areas under Operations, with responsibility for the execution of Operations strategy and supporting the business outlook. The role will take full responsibility to implement robust operational capability covering Transfer Agent, Portfolio Accounting and Direct Sales Operations of asset management that would support the growth of overall asset management business.

Lead in developing and implementing the middle & back office strategy for asset management, on both system and operating model.

Ensuring that the business operations of asset management are both effectively and efficiently designed& managed. This includes adherence to Group and regulatory standards, the appropriate deployment of resources, the attainment of agreed operating plan objectives and the day-to-day management of the business.

The general oversight of the support functions in asset management.

Act as the operational subject matter expert and contribute in projects on operating model and system infrastructure.

Achieve business growth by supporting new products and new funds in the best operating model.

Act as Deputy, when required, to the asset management COO for coverage of asset management Operations and other governance committees.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

Knowledge & Experience

At least 7 years' hands-on experience in and familiarity with TA & FA operations of fund industry or asset management industry in mainland China.

Good track record with prior experience of managing operations functions and process strong process mind-set, with change management and business transformation skill.

A Bachelor's degree or higher is required. CFA or CPA qualifications a bonus

Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
