Internal Audit (IAD)

Group Internal Audit provides independent assurance to management and the Risk and Audit Committees that HSBC’s risk management, governance and internal control processes are designed appropriately and are operating effectively.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will ?

The role of this Audit Manager, is to optimize business audit approach through identifying risk areas/indicators and collaborating with both business auditor and data analysis team in designing, delivering and utilizing analytical tools.

In this role, you will

-Participate and lead different audit projects crossing different business lines and products

-Identify and supplement risk indicators including but not limited to credit risk, operational risk, people risk and regulatory compliance risk

-Collect or build up information of business and service volume and trend analysis

-Optimize audit approach based on the result of data analysis in various banking products and services.

-Build up business auditors' capability on data wise analytical thinking and critical analysis

-Collaborate with various stakeholders including IT, data owner, business auditors and data analysis teams

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements

-Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, experience in commercial banking and Fintech is preferred

-Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

-Knowledge of statistics and experience using analyzing tools (Excel, Python, Qliksense and etc)

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

-BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
